Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring Easter Egg - Director in Photo

This egg is also to do with Peter Jackson, the films Director, Featuring in the movie.
Watch carefully when Gandalf is inside Bilbo Baggins House, take note when Gandalf talks to Bilbo in front of the mantle piece. Above the mantlepiece there are photos of Bilbo's parents. The people in the Photos are Peter Jackson (although he does not feature his beard because Hobbits do not have beards) and his wife.

Ummm... you guys are only part right. The male painting is PJ, but the female painting is NOT his wife. It is Phillipa Boyens, the screenwriter for the movie.

His wife is Fran Walsh, the co-writer. Their two children are two of the hobbit children when Bilbo is telling the story of the trolls (they are the ones focused on when Bilbo says "Poof!", and they go "Ah!")

Sorry, Bruzie. You're wrong. Peter Jackson is NOT married to Fran Walsh. In fact, he's not married at all... His 'life partner' of several years has been Phillipa Boyens. They have two children together, and both of the kids have had cameos in all three LOTR films. If you're going to bring up a person's private/personal life, do them the honor of getting the facts straight.

hobbitsrule, have you told either PJ, Fran or Phillipa about your info? The facts are PJ and Fran are, and have been married since 1987. A visit to imdb.com, although not definitive, certainly confirms it. Take a pint of your own advice.
