Raimi, Sam Easter Egg - Mine's Scarier Than Yours!

In the movie, Evil Dead, there's a shot of the basement of the cabin thry're in. On the rear wall is a poster for Wes Craven's film, The Hills Have Eyes, but the poster is torn in half. Sam Raimi put this there as if to say, " Hey Wes, your's was pretty scary, but check out the Evil Dead!"
In turn, in the scene from A Nightmare On Elm Street when Johnny Depp is eaten by his bed, he happens to be watching Evil Dead on his TV.
So in Evil Dead II, the poster is a Dream Warriors poster, and the battle continues.

On the DVD Bruce states the significance of the posters and also other homages (Like the Kruger Claw in the shack in Evil Dead 2). Kinda EEgg, but a well know and well stated one!

First of all, Nancy was the one watching evil dead on her t.v. in the first nightmare. Second of all, In Dream Warriors, one of the girls(the one who wanted to become an actress)starts changing the channels and one the channels she flips through is playing evil dead one or two.

Just because it's a well known egg to YOU...doesn't mean that the person who posted this knew until he noticed it. DON'T BE A DOUCHE!
