Brazil Easter Egg - Kurtzman
In the sixties, Terry Gilliam (writer, director), wrote for a magazine called Help (where he met soon-to-be-co-worker John Cleese), whose editor was Harvey Kurtzman. Ian Holm's character in Brazil, Mr. Kurtzman, is not only reference to Terry's former employer, but also typecast. "Kurtzman" literally, in German, means "short man," which Ian Holm happened to be.
