Sims House Party, The Easter Egg - Drew Carey at Your Party

1. Create a house which has a nice lay out for a party room.
2. Buy a dance floor, DJ Booth, Buffet Tables, a cake for a male or female entertainer and a punch bowel. You can also add whatever else you think will create a great party. Bubble machine, Costume Trunk ect.
3. Build all there other obvious house objects.(Sinks, toilets, tables, chairs, etc.)
4. Move your family in (its okay if there was a family already in there) and have them call a services and then a Carter.
5. Then have them throw a party (it helps if they are in a neighborhood where they know some of the other sims) and as soon as people start arriving have one of your sims DJ,invite everyone to dance and then hire a male and/or a female entertainer.
6. After a while they should all start screaming that there's a limo out side and they'll all run to it.
7. Drew will stay at your party for about 3 hours mingling with others. If you hired a female entertainer she will give him her card.

I had all the necessary stuff at my house, but I didn't have anyone DJing. I did have a party crasher. Actually, I named one of that house's characters Drew Carey, but I'm certain that didn't have anything to do with it. :)

This is not an egg. It says celebrity guest as one of the new characters on the box for the game. If you want him to stay permanently at your house, press shift+ ctrl+ alt+ C and type "Move_objects on" without the quotation marks. Then go to buy mode and delete his limo. He will stay in your house for ever until you delete him the same way.

Drew Carey is actually a big fan of the sims, he did a skit on The Drew Carey show where they all get drunk and speak the sim language and get the thought bubble thingies, this is why he is featured in the game, he prolly asked to be in it

yeah, I've had him come to my party, too...you have to have a successful party where everyone is having fun or something. if your party bombs, though, the mime comes.

Drew Carey showed up at my house when I had a lot of people over, even though I didn't have a single one of the special party objects mentioned. I guess my guests must have been pretty satisfied, or Drew would never have bothered.

I don't think there's anything specific you have to do besides throw a party, but hiring a caterer seems to help. If the party goes well, Drew may show up. Deleting the limo just delays things. Eventually another shows up. Moving the limo behind a hedge keeps it from leaving, but when you reload the game it will be gone.

One of my Sims got abducted by aliens. What you do is get them to stargaze at night through the telescope. Then he gets beamed up. They will be returned in the morning. The downside is the only interests they will have is aliens and violence!!

Oh man I wish all my Sims games would work but they won't unless I add screen area cause' I only have one setting.

You don't really need to have all of the party materials, as long as a lot of the sims at your party are in a good mood Drew will come. A good thing is the magic expresso machine from simsos.cjb.net and everyone will be in a good mood. You'll notice that if you have a female cake dancer she will leave the party with Drew and when they both get in the limo she'll kick him out of the limo, it's quite amusing.
