In the last third of the movie, after they're married, Daniel Day Lewis' and Winona Ryder's characters have their photo taken together. The photographer is the film's director, Martin Scorcese.

Martin Scorcese appears in most (if not all) of his films. In Taxi Driver he's the passenger who watches his wife at the window from the back seat of the cab. There's more, I just can't remember them right now so if anyone else knows feel free to add them. Also, his mom is in Good Fellas and Casino.

His mum also does the voice of Rupert Pupkin's mother in King of Comedy. Marty himself can be heard at the end of Raging Bull as the stage hand, he's the dispatcher in Bringing Out The Dead, a brothel client in Who's That Knocking at my Door, and a hit man in Mean Streets.
