Yep, and in the Brood War expansion set, when you produce a Corsair, his greeting line ("It is a good day to die") is the invincibility cheat for War Craft II !

In "Little Big Man," a movie with Dustin Hoffman, "it is a good day to die" is one of the most memorable lines.

It is a good day to die is also a very famous line from Star Trek TNG. Worf says it - "It is a good day to die, but the day is not yet over"

actually, that was not first used in blade runner, i cant place the name right now but i know it was used by someone a while ago, way before bladerunner was a idea, hence, bladerunner isnt the first to use "today is a good day to die"

otacon, hon, Flatliners isn't the first place that comes from. Crazy Horse, a man who is very well known, or at least he should be considering the impact he had on American history, said that... LONG before Flatliners ever came out. While I love the movie, and Keiffer's hot... it was originally said by Crazy Horse, it was his war cry "Hoka Hey! It is a Good Day to die!"

Diablo is the name of the game is not french is spanish, diabolo is italian, and the line "is a good day to die" was said by crazy horse, and quoted in flat-liners, but it was a war cry before war in the crazy horse tribe before the white man came to america.

Wasn't it also a klingon saying in star trek? i think it was one of the movies.

I believe that in Flatliners, the line was actually "Today is a good day to die", which paraphrases Crazy Horse. In Bladerunner, it was 'Time to die'.

Actually, in the Brood Wars expansion of starcraft the Protoss Corsair also says: "It is a good day to die" when it is made.

Well.. actually that translation is wrong. Twin Wheels would be Di Abolo ... where ''Di'' means dual, double, twin, etc.. and Abolo is Wheel. Diablo is spanish for Devil, Satan.
