Actually, the song is called "all by myself" and is about masturbation

This song is performed by Trey Cool, the drummer quite frequently in concert, and yes, it's called 'All By Myself', and it's much better live.

Yeah, its been called 'All by Myself' by the Green Day fans, although it has never been officially called anything by Green Day. It is indeed about masturbation. It was recorded on a four-track one night, not in a studio. I think it was added for a bit of amusement :-)

That song isn't about masturbation at all. The song is about when Tre found his friend dead in his friends room. If you notice it sounds like he is crying or somthing during the song, that is because he was getting slightly emotional. Tre even admitted it.

Actually, they're holding up Ernie. Ernie's the singer. But it's not about any dead friends or masturbation. It's just a song they recorded to either scare and/or annoy the sh*t out of you. Scare: if you leave it running and the song starts to play after 2 1/2 minutes of silence. Annoy: if you try to find the lyrics on the CD. (like I did)

Oh my god! That's how I found out about that song. I left it playing on my stereo after F.O.D and when it came on it scared the sh*t out of me.

Yeah, I remember that song... and i must say that it scared the sh*t out of me too. I had the CD for a long long time, and i fell asleep one day while listening to it. It scared the sh*t out of me since i never heard this song before when i woke up.

Its not about death. Tre has claimed many things that are all bullshit. Only stupid people would beleive that. Especially when you consider that the only other songs he has written were 'dominated love slave' and 'rat does cheese' (the lyrics are suck my balls until your lips fall off, or something like that) and TRE sings it. not ernie. I hate to break this to everyone... but ernie is a fictional character.

Scare? When music starts playing on any of my cd's, I am usually NOT scared.

yeah most green day cd and a lot of other bands have "secret songs", but if you want to find them, all you have to do is go to the last song and let it play when its finished, and if your listening to the cd, put the player on repeat all and listen, you will probably find something.

:sigh: The song IS called All By Myself. Try to find it anywhere, and that's what it says. It's in the Tab Book, and I believe I found it listed on a CD once. It's not about some dead guy, and it's not totally about jerking off. It's definately not about stalking. It's called a fun song. Too bad Green Day is the most serious band in the world huh?

Okay, this song is definatly not about anybody dying and it's not Ernie singing. He is not starting to cry, he is laughing, and so are the people in the background if you listen well enough to hear them.

I can't believe you guys don't know about these secret songs! If, ever, you come upon a track that keeps playing after you are done, there is probably a secret song on the end. I have 4 or 5 cds that have these songs on them. I'm not saying this isn't an egg, because it is. I'm just saying that I can't believe that any "huge" green day fan doesn't know about this.

Nothing to do with Ernie, but i do believe it's supposed to be a Kermit the Frog style song. Yeah, I was 10 when I got this cd, and i was sititng alone in the dark, in my room, playing my commodore 64 and listening to this CD. At the time, the music at the end that came out of nowhere scared me to death ;)
