Sims, The Easter Egg - Bring Back Dead Sims

Start the game and go to make a new family mode. When you make a new family just make two sons and a mom and a dad. After you make the family lock them all in a room of the house you have bought them with no appliances until they die. Take there urns and put them in a corner or something. Make a new family to put in this house. It doesn't matter how many people in the new family. Then just put the new family in the house get them good and ready for a funny egg. When all of them are in the house press Control+Shift+C and type Dig_Up_Her_Bones and the mom from the last family will appear as one of your new familys members and is completly fine and not dead.

That's a little too strict. I don't think that you hafta lock them up, nor make an exact family. If they die, just activate the cheat menu and type in "Dig_up_her_bones"

Too bad this doesn't work when the whole family doesn't die. I tried bringing back a daughter (the mother lived) and it didn't work.

just type move_objects on in the cheat prompt and then throw the Sims in a pool. Extra quick.

Absolutely. This egg is great fun to do, especially if you move some one into the old house and then spring the person on them unexpectedly!!

And i almost forgot. Use "move_objects on" to move the ghost around. Put it in your pool if you want, or inside a table. For once you can do these things with something that CAN fit inside things, not just people!!

I wish I had known this cheat when my favorite family was completely wiped out by that stupid gerbal! The mom died while she was feeding her new baby, like 3 kids died, and the father finally died. So now there was just kids running around in the house with no food. It was sad man. I was pissed. But yahuh not saving the game doesnt alwasy work. If they're at the brink of death they will die if you save the game or not.

This weird thing happened to me once. My sim was standing around outside when suddenly the daffodils near him burst into flames, completely at random. I couldn't stop him from going into the flames and he died. The game took a bunch of pictures of him dying and then said he was dead. I got pissed at the game and started to quit and accidentally pressed save. Then I realized what I did and before it finished saving I pulled the plug out of my computer to turn it off. When I turned The Sims on again, the guy was still alive, but the pictures of him dying in the flames and a picture of his urn were still there! I just thought that was weird.

Just use Ctrl, Alt, Delete, and go to build mode. Pick up the neighbour(s) and press delete. I read somewhere it is just like throwing them off your property. I tried it, and the Sims are fine.

To stop your sims neighbors from dying try this: Make a small extension with a door, a space and then the wall so your sims inside can't get out. The neighbors will ring the doorbell, and eventually they'll go away!

If you buy the medicine cabnet from mallofthesims.com you can heal sick sims by commanding them to "view" the cabnet. Especially handy if you have any pets like guinee pigs, gerbals, any pet like that.

Haha the same thing happened to me except it wasn't w/ daffodils. One of my sims went to clean up a vase of flowers that a neighbor had given him and all of a sudden he just started to twitch and move really fast and then he just fell on the ground and died. I thought it was because of the flowers but when I made another sim clean them up nothing happened. It was so weird.

I tried it, and it didn't work! Does it only work on some versions of the sims? I was using vacation.

Rocket Grunt writes:
The twitching thing you were talking about with the daffodils and the flowers is spontaneous combustion. The flowers have nothing to do with it, really. It's rare, but it can happen. What happens is, your sim will be awake, doing anything at all. Then, they can burst into flames, and start to twitch. You can't stop it, other than not saving. There's also a patch on thesims.com that shows the flames when it happens.

Another cool instance that happened using move objects. I put my neighbor in my swimming pool. He popped out and over to the sidewalk, and then started swimming on the sidewalk. I don't know if it's repeatable.

Wow, the spontanious combustion thing happened to me too. My woman was just walking down the hall when she started to twitch. Then she turned into a pile of ashes. Weird, huh!

I can't get the dig up her bones cheat to work no matter what I do! Do you have to have the original Sims game for it? I have the Sims Deluxe and the Unleashed expansion.

I had this one house that i forgot to put a dishwasher in, so whenever they had extra dirty dishes i'd use the move_objects cheat to put them in the front yard. they were outside for a really long time and suddenly, they all blew up in a mushroom cloud one by one. it was the funniest thing i've ever seen.

I couldn't get this to work! I do know, though, that if one of your sims dies, you can use the move_objects on cheat to delete the grim reaper before the sim is prononced dead, then delete the body and bring it back. They should be completely healthy, but they'll lose all their skill points.

I've read the comments and I've heard of the random dying before. It's some kind of glitch. You need a patch for it to show the flames (if it happens after you install the patch).

This is sorta off-topic, but once, i made a sim make a bunch of gnomes, like 40 of them, and then some random person, like a neighbor comes over and kicks one, and they all blow up in a chain reaction, and they person gets lifted off the ground and goes flying backwards onto the ground. it was funny but now all the gnomes are gone...

If you make a pool and put a diving board but no ladder, the sims will jump in and never climb out. you can do this to a whole family at once. This is how I made the graveyard for my spooky mansion (I went thourgh about 5 families so its pretty big). You can also put the family in a room with no exit and alot of furnature. buy a fireworks set and have a sim set it off indoors. when the rocket lands it will start a fire and all the sims will burn. MWAHAHAHAHA!!!! Another way to kill a whole family is buy a guini pig and put it on a table, then surroud the table with objects so that the sims can never clean its cage. eventually they get sick and shivery, and then they die. There's a poem about this in the description of the guini pig picture. I like finding elaborate ways of killing my sims.
