This egg was also used in the game "Kingdom Hearts". In the camp area of the Deep Jungle (Tarzan) level, check a small table in one of the corners for Mrs. Potts and Chip.

It is still them. it doesn't matter if they are alive or have faces on them. They are the same things.

Actually guys its thing that disnesy does in that in each cartoon there will be a character or referance to another previous film, eg in toy story two when the space blokey and cowbooy are outside the toy warhouse looking through leaves you can see the big catapiller from bugs life. its done on purpose so isn't a Egg thingy.

Plus, one of the gorillas (I don't remember which one) says "they're not alive" or something like that.

Actually, the gorilla's name is Terk, short for Terkina. A lot of people think this is a male gorilla, but at the beginning of the movie, her mother says,"Come on little lady, it's way past your nest time." Besides the fact that she wears a dress and makeup later on in the movie.
