You hold control, then drag the "E" over the world, but don't let go. Then, drag it past the lettering that says "Microsoft Internet Explorer". The words should go away and a button labeled "Unlock" will appear. Release control, click "Unlock", hold control down again, and drag the "E" over the now vibrating world. Enjoy!!!

Same here. When I click 'About Internet Explorer' under Help, there is no world. There is only an 'e' and the title 'Internet Explorer 5"

I Agree. There is no world. Maybe we are special and get a Special version of Internet Explorer.

The "E" is the Internet Explorer icon located in the top right hand corner of the "about" box. It's actually a LOWER CASE "e". I tried it first with the "E" of Explorer, and that didn't work. It did work once I dragged the IE "e" over the world and then into the words. Maybe that will clear this up.

The unlock button is underneath the Internet explorer 4.0 writing. If you move the 'e' fast enough it pushes the words out of the way revealing the button. If you move the 'e' too slowly then it just goes behind.

It is, AFAIK, actually possible in IE5: Go to: javascript:window.name="TheWCEE";location.href="res://shdoclc.dll/wcee.htm" If I remember correctly. It is still there in IE6 Beta, though the background image (res://shdoclc.dll/ierocks.gif) is gone.

It does work in IE 5-6 all you have to do is copy this into your address bar: javascript:window.name="TheWCEE";location.href="res://shdoclc.dll/wcee.htm" it has a black background and a pic in one corner that doesn't work, I like the features they didn't put in list during the intermission.

If the text is too fast for you, use a scroller mouse and then click the scroll button and drag the mouse to the left very quickly. This will pause the scrolling text until you let go of the scroll button.

Some of you people must be either stupid, or unable to follow simple instructions. -sorry, but this must be true. I quote: no-one writes: Go to "res://shodclc.dll/wcee.htm" and there's the credits. Now, can anyone tell me why this is complicated? For you IE5 and above users, who are saying, "Huh? where is the world? I don't get it!", I say this. YOU ARE STUPID. Forget all about the world and just type: res://shodclc.dll/wcee.htm into the address bar. There. Now wasn't that nice and easy. Regards, Morlleidr.
