You an also use lots of other words that can be used. These are the words used for the slow voice that is often heard during the Game (not TFC). Any word that is said by the voice (such as ACCESS DENIED when you try using a face scanner) can be used in this. There are lots of other words that were not used (Adios amigo are two such words). It should be possible to do it in a grunt voice but I am not sure exactly how. N.B. If you have a pac Explorer then you have to explore sounds/vox for a list of usable words.

You can do all sorts of fun stuff, at a LAN party we spent about 1/4 of an hour playing about with it. Try "nice red ass Gordon" The possibilities are pretty damn funny

No, speak is an UNDOCUMENTED command, which makes it an egg.

this is all fine and dandy, but I'm pretty sure that whatever speak command is entered can only be heard by the person who types it.

Speak an spk ARE documented commands. Go to console and type "cmdlist". They are right there along with all the other console commands.

errr.... no such thing as DOS, well not anymore. What you would actually be using under Win9x and above is a command shell.

This isn't an egg, the guy running the server just types a command and it comes up. This also works on Counter-Strike, but I don't think it's an egg.

It is a well documented and very simple command, with much more capability than to just say the word ass, while that is still fun. If you admin a game this should be pretty simple for you. And it deffinately can be broadcasted to all the players. Servers running AMX or AdminMod, can download precompiled plugins which do this exact thing.
