Outlook Easter Egg - Outlook 2000 Credits

1) Type "Ren Hoek" (without the quotes) into the "Find a Contact" box on the toolbar and press Enter. (Outlook will say that it cannot find the requested contact.)

2) Click on this menu item: Tools->Macro->Macros.

3) In the "Macro Name:" box, type "OL2KRocks" (without the quotes).

4) Click the Create button.

5) The "About Microsoft Outlook" dialog appears.

6) Hold down the CTRL-ALT-SHIFT keys and click OK.

The Outlook 2000 team credits appear, along with a game. Try to catch the names as they fly across in the mailbox.

I was on-line when I did this. I found pressing the "More" button on the game window will took me to a website writen by the developers, showing in the message frame of the outlook window. Is this the yolk of the egg?

Pretty cool. As a newbie egg hunter, I found this one pretty easy and fun. I liked the mailbox game (it pauses itself at 50 and 100 and spits out envelopes) and I loved some of the nicknames. The website was cute, too (last update 10/30/99 though!). Thanks for the fun.

Just make sure that in the very beginning to find this egg, you must enter the Outlook Today page. After that, look at the tool bar to find the address book text field then type the word as instructed above and follow the rest of instructions. It's very fun !

Another tip that worked for me: When entering the name of the Macro, DO NOT CUT AND PASTE -- this must, apparently, be typed in. This is a great egg.

It's complicated, you have to type in "Ren Hoek" in little text box at the top of the toolbar in Outlook Today. The website you get to when you click on "More" is http://www.creditsite.com/outlook.

It worked perfectly for me. I believe I'm using SR1, but am not sure. You have to be very precise with the steps
