Superman: The Animated Series Easter Egg - Apokolips Inks

In the episode "Apokolips... Now" (the one that introduced Orion,) two of the settings are Sinnot Air Base and Ayers Island Nuclear Facility, tributed to Joe Sinnot and Dick Ayers, two classic inkers for the Superman comics (among others.)

*sigh*...At least do some research first... Joe Sinnott and Dick Ayers never worked on any Superman comic. They both were classic inkers of Jack Kirby's work back at the start of the Marvel Universe in the '60s (and even before that). The tribute carries over from having Turpin drawn to look like Kirby. Turpin was created by Kirby for his original run of DC Comics' New Gods series. See how it all comes together so nicely?
