Spirited Away Easter Egg - Pixar Reference

If you have the DVD of Spirited Away, you can skip ahead to scene 13 (A Visit with Zeniba) for this egg. Otherwise, just watch until Chihiro, No Face, Boh (the mouse) and the little bird thing get off of the train at Swamp Bottom. They are approached by a lantern that hops toward them and leads them to Zeniba's house. This is a reference to the Pixar lightbulb that hops on the screen before every movie. Studio Ghibli(yay!!) paired up with Disney and its partners at Pixar to make English dubs of its films, and this is a hidden tribute to them.

actually, the Japanese believe that there are friendly spirits that inhabit things such as lanterns, umbrellas, those wooden sandals, and other household items. This guy is just one of them.
