Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars Easter Egg - Culex, the Dark Knight of Vanda

1) Buy a Fireworks from the man in Moleville for 500 coins.

2) Trade it at the molekid's 'pur-tend store' for a Shiny Stone.

3) Go up to the locked door in Monstro Town and press A. The Shiny Stone will react and break the seal. Go in.

4) You can now talk to (and battle) the secret boss/refugee from Final Fantasy IV/toughest enemy in the game: Culex, the Dark Knight of Vanda.

P.S: After you fight Culex, the door disappears.

Culex himself didn't actually appear in any Final Fantasy game. Neither did a place called Vanda. The crystals he fights with however are famous from several Final Fantasy games, and his music is the boss music from Final Fantasy IV.
