Doctor Who (2007) Easter Egg - The Doctor's Dad and Mum

To see the scene: go approximately 30 minutes into the episode; there is a scene where the doctor is talking with a nurse at a scarecrow in a field.

She asks the Doctor who his Mother and Father were. The Doctor (who doesnt know he is the Doctor for plot reasons). The exchange goes as follows:

Matron: Ever the artist, where did you learn to draw?
Doctor: Gallifrey
Matron: Is that in Ireland?
Doctor: Yes.. It must be, yes.
Matron: You're not Irish.
Doctor: Not at all, no. My Father, Sydney was a watch maker from Nottighan; and my Mother, Verity was ... um, well she was a nurse actually.
Matron: Oh! We make such good wives!

The Person Mainly responsible for developing Doctor Who in 1963 was Sydney Newman. (Doctor Who's father in a sense)
