Cars Easter Egg - Rock Formations

In the background of Radiator Springs, one will notice that many of the rock formations are the front ends of old 1950's era cars. Also, behind Radiator Springs one will see tail fins of cars sticking up.

The back end of the cars in the background are a replica of the "Cadillac Ranch" just outside of Amarillo, TX.

The tailfins you mention in the background is a reference to "cadillac ranch" which is a tourist location along historic route 66. Nice catch.

If you look on the first picture, there is face on the mountain.

Thats not a face. Its the front of a car. A better view of it is in the second picture, where you can see wheel wells (but not wheels).
