Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin) Easter Egg - Hidden Message

On the Led Zepplin cd Zoso go to the song Stairway to Heaven. About halfway through the song there is a verse that says "if there's a bustle in your hedgerow don't be alarmed know its just a spring clean for the mayqueen yes there are two paths you can go by but in the long run there's still time to change the road your on." Backmask through that verse and it will say " oh here's to my sweet satan the one whose little path would make me sad whose power is satan. He'll give you 666. There was a little toolshed where he made us suffer sad satan." Jimmy Page the guitarist and song writer for Led zepplin is an occultist. Which explains the personal significance of this message to the song writer.

That is interesting, I actually can only make out when he says satan and 666, it's kind of creepy. The whole time I thought that there was a message in the words. But I didn't think it was a backwards satanists message!

This egg is very, very real, at least the half. I have other eggs about this song, I will post them later.

Robert Plant actually wrote the song. The only part in the song Jimmy Page had anything to do with writing the song is the guitar solo. Also, i have listened to the song backwards and it sounds like a bunch of randomn sounds.

Actually, Stairway To Heaven wasn't written by Page or Plant, but was actually stolen from a relatively unknown Blues band. Zeppelin actually stole a few songs from unknown artists, including Babe I'm Gonna Leave you. Also, in the booklet of Mothership, the real writing credits are written.
