Home Improvement Easter Egg - Tim and Buzz Doll

In an episode where Tim looks after his nieces. During the last credits he is playing with the girls and a Buzz Lightyear doll. Nothing spectacular here. He pretends he is talking to the doll. "I am Buzz Lightyear" "No, I am Buzz Lightyear" and so on. This is significant because Tim Allen played the voice of Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story.

This is really not significant ... the end credits is the place where they always put the out-takes and other things done for effect ... Allen was just doing a little improv with the doll

In that same Episode, Johnathan Taylor Thomas sees them underneath the sheet and grabs a Simba doll and says a few lines from the Lion King.

actually, what happened was that Tim said something like "have you ever been a lion?" and Randy said "I have. It wasn't that great, they always want you to be king."
