Well before you dismiss the "hanging man" as just another Wizard of Oz myth you must compair the new versions of The Wizard of Oz to the older ones before it was digitally remastered and i think it was remastered in 1998 or 1999. There is defiantly a difference but i did not say it was a munchkin.

Wax- The Snopes site wrote their story about the urban in 1997, prior to the digital remaster you listed in 1998/99. I think sometimes people really want to believe in conspiracy when the truth is more boring. If you read the whole explanation, it clears it up. http://www.snopes.com/movies/films/ozsuicid.htm Looking at it and watching it, it does look like the emu

It is not a man!!! Watch the movie from the time that the tin-man does his song to the time where you see the bird in the background ("the man") and you will understand that it is a bird. It drops it's head up and down a few times before finally stretching its wings out right before the scene change as the three go skipping down the yellow brick road!!!! Try it for yourself!! We happen to be watching the Wizard of Oz in my History of Rock n' Roll class at school because of the Pink Floyd album dark side of the Moon, and my entire class agreed with me when I pointed out that it was a bird!
