Surviving Christmas Easter Egg - Blue Duck

First, cue the DVD/Tape up to 43:30, or up to the part where the sledding scene begins. When the kid goes down the pathetic hill and you get a side view of it, pause the tape/DVD. Look in the bottom left hand corner and you will see a blue duck. I am unsure of the significance of this duck, so I am open to suggestions. Alternately, cue the DVD/tape to 43:53 and pause immediately.
