Thunderbirds (2004) Easter Egg - Puppet Hand

In the scene where Alan is given permission by Mr Tracy to pilot Thunderbird 1 for the first time & take it to London. When Alan places his hand on the throttle, Brain's son (I forget his name )places his hand next to Alan's on the control lever. Notice the hand is that of a puppet in tribute to the original TV series. In the original series whenever there was a need for a close up of a hand they generally used a real hand.
Also in the garage where all of the machinery is kept there is a red car parked among the rescue vehicles. Its a Ford Thunderbird. There is also a picture of this car on Mr Tracy's desk with all of the Tracy kids in the sitting in the back-seat.

Yeh, I noticed the puupet hand when i watched it in the cinema. I think it wouldn't have been quite so easy to spot if it wasn't for the strings!

also when the bad guy (i forget his name) is controlling brains he says "like a puppet on strings" or something like that. Obviously a reference to the original tv series.

There is also a cameo from director Jonathan Frakes at the end of the film; When Mullian is carrying the hood down the stairs outside the bank of england, the police officer on the far right is none other than Jonathan Frakes. Brains' son's name is Fermat.
