I tried to get this to work, and it will not. It keeps taking me to the stills gallery. Any suggestions?

On disc four go to the Video Game & Still Galleries menu page. Using your remote, press "10+" then "1" (or "11" depending on your player) and wait for the pause as the player accepts the input (note that a small box next to R2-D2 will illuminate if you're on the right track). Then press "3" and wait for the pause. Finally, press "8". and it will start to play.

I was having a similar problem with the DVD taking me to the stills gallery and i found that instead of hitting "1-1", i had to hit the +10 key and then a 1, making an 11, and then press enter. a small 'door' in the middle of the screen then highlighted and i pressed 3 and enter and then 8 and enter and I was taken to what is actually the DVD credits with bloopers shown in between. Still pretty cool. :-)

I can't make this easter egg work and my remote doesn't have a 10+. It keeps taking me to the stills. Anyone know how to get around this?

This may work differntly depending on your remote and the type of DVD player you have. The 10+ key didn't work for me but hitting 1-1 then 3 then 8 did but NOT hitting the enter button in-between, just the numbers and waiting a second between each one. So the egg does seem to work but the commands seem to vary just a little.

This doesn't work any every DVD players, as some DVD players don't allow menu navigation using the numeric keys on the remote (they're mapped to the items displayed on the screen).

Similar to doofus's contribution, except on my DVD I had to use the -/-- button, which then allowed the 11 to be entered. On a side note its from THX 1138, Lucas's first film!

I did hit paydirt with the PC DVD players, both powerDVD and Sonic/WinDVD units. Get CD 4 rolling on one of the trailers or featurettes, then RIGHT mouse click on the movie and select title 38, chapter 1. On PowerDVD you'll have to select chapter 30, title 1 to get the rest of the chapters listed.. Most likely a bug in the software, for the Sonic/WinDVD players show 38:1 right off the bat. The keypads on the players are a joke, unless the DVDs are programmed to allow them to work.

We were having problems accessing the bloopers as well, until we just stopped hitting the "enter" button. Try this: 11 3 8

Ok, here's what I found works. I'm using PowerDVD 5 on Windows 2000 for the record. As mentioned above (but not very clearly), you enter 11, and wait (on standalone DVD players pressing Enter might be required but PowerDVD just accepts the input straight away). The bin-shaped object next to R2 will turn green. Now enter 3. Wait (or hit Enter as is relevant). Now, wait until the menu ends its current loop, and restarts (you can tell when it does this because the music fades out then fades back in at its start point again). When that happens, hit 8 (and Enter if you need to). Then, you'll jump to the end credits (with the bloopers mixed inbetween the creds). This also turns out to be Title 35, Chapter 1. Using the DVD Browser to go to it directly may work just as well, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't. This works fine on the Region 2 UK version of the Bonus DVD. Enjoy. :)

On my DVD player, which is a Panasonic, I had to press the ¡Ý10 button, then press 1 twice (for 11). Then I hit 3 and then 8 and voila! Bloopers! Hope this helps somebody.
