Spiderman 2 Easter Egg - Bruce, Back from the Dead

Sam Raimi, the director of both Spiderman I and II (as well as the Evil Dead series featuring Bruce Campell) not only included Bruce Campell in the first movie, but the second as well.

Bruce appears in this movie, as the rude usher to MJ's theatre show, as well as the ring announcer in the first movie.

Sam Raimi likes to keep pluggin in cameos of friends, family, and actors he's worked with in the past.

Sam and Bruce both worked on Xena, where Sam played Joxer and Bruce played The King of Thieves, Attolokis (sp).

Anybody who's a fan of Evil Dead knows that Bruce is in the Spider-Man movies. That's easy. But did you know that another friend of Sam's and Bruce's appears in the movie? See if you can find Scott Spiegel. He's in the movie as well.

Ummm, your not quite right there. Ted Raimi played Joxer. Ted is Sam's little brother, and has an ongoing roll of some member of the Daily Bugle staff in the spiderman movies. Hackman? Something like that.

Actually Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert (who is in fact Mr Lucy Lawless) were executive producers on Xena. Lucy Lawless plays the punk woman on spiderman.

Bruce Cambell also did the very funny commentary on the training stage in the Spiderman videogame. Someone said he did the second one too, but I haven't played it yet.
