Haunted Mansion, The Easter Egg - Cemetery Appearance by Walt Disney

In the middle of the movie, while Jim Evers is in the cemetery with his kids Meghan and Michael looking for the key, they hear four statues singing. The statue on the far right is none other than Walt Disney himself!

The Rightmost bust is NOT Walt Disney. According to the book "From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies" by Jason Surrell, the four busts in the movie are likenesses of four Disney legends, but not Walt. They are - from left to right - Imagineer Marc Davis, Paul Frees (who is the voice of the attraction's Ghost Host), Sculptor/Imagineer Blaine Gibson, and Thurl Ravenscroft (aka Tony the Tiger and singer of "You're a Mean one, Mr. Grinch). Thurl is the bass singer in the original singing busts in the attraction at the Disney Parks. He is the one in the Broken Bust. (The singing voices in the movie are Disneyland's roving barbershop quartet, The Dapper Dans) This same mistaken identity of confusing Thurl's bust with Walt has been around for years concerning the theme park attraction and even has a page in the Urban Legends Reference Pages at http://www.snopes.com/disney/parks/busts.htm

The Bust on the right is not supposed to be Walt Disney, but Thurl Ravenscroft. You can hear this on the DVD commentaries.
