Core, The Easter Egg - Hidden Fish

pause the movie at 8 minutes and 59 seconds. The scene is a flock of pigeons going wild and flying into buildings at this point you will see a fish
fly into a window and break it. It is a close-up
shot and you will see it clearly but not for long.
The directors commentary stated that they added it
just for fun.

The Trout is at 8mins 35 secs not 59, if you go to 59 secs its a totally different scene!

Hmmm, other people have this egg listed at 9 minutes. Unless our DVD players are reading different timestamps, or your looking at the wrong thing. A lot of the images in that sequence have a tendancy to look like fish, but this one looked most like it to me. Anyway happy egg hunting.

How weird....I can't seem to find that trout. Could someone save that picture and re-edit it so that the fish is circled or something? o.0

Your timer on the player is obviously just showing a different timestamp. I uploaded a pic from the Nividia DVD player on my computer and it shows the 9 minuite timestamp on the bottom. It was the same on my living room DVD player as well. Please see the photo. Anyways happy egg hunting.

It's as the first big pane shatters completely as the view is flipping perspectives from the outside of the shop to inside watch for the guy in the white jacket with a graying beard near the woman holding the white umbrella (folded) . When the viewpoint snaps back to the bird that shatters the first big pane completely watch the pane immediately to it's right hello fish.
