Smells Like Children (Marilyn Manson) Easter Egg - Scabs, Guns, and Peanut Butter - Acoustic Song by Twiggy

I just kind of stumbled upon this while I was listening to Smells Like Children. I noticed the song "Scabs, Guns and Peanut Butter" (Track 11) sounded really high pitched like the chipmunk effect you get when you speed something up.

So heres what to do:

-Open Sound Recorder
-Put Your Mic up to the speaker that your playing the song "Scabs, Guns and Peanut Butter" out of
-Record it.
-When your done recording it goto Effects-Decrease Speed.

Tada!...its an actual acoustic song sung & performed by Twiggy Ramirez. Also you can simply rip the song from the CD and turn it into a WAV and do the same thing. When I did this if you play the song on a program that lets you filter out the sound to just your Left or Right speaker (such as Winamp)...slide it to the left speaker and you'll hear nothing but little electronic type noises (I'm not sure if this works when you just record it through a mic, but it might). I thought this was pretty cool.

As an interesting note, this track is mentioned in Manson's autobiography. Near the middle of Chapter 12, as he talks about their 'Tony Wiggins Communion', he recalls how Twiggy plugged his guitar into a sound recorder on high speed and played for a while: a song Manson described as one that "...wasn't funny if you weren't high at the time." (The above quote might not be exact - don't have the book with me at the moment, but that's the gist of it.)
