1. Get to the part when Ash almost leaves Pikacu

2.When Ash and Pikachu are re-united after Ash almost leaves Pikachu, the grass & Dirt around them make a pikachu!

I was just thinking,"Skip the yucky bit, I want to see Pikachu go!" You've got to admit, Pikachu is just too cute to stay. I want Cubone, Gengar, Kabutops! But do you ever see them as main characters? I think not. But still I didn't see the grass Pikachu. I was just so upset...a bit later, when Ash got Pikachu back. Notice that Ash never trades any of his team of six Pokemon for any in his computer storage system, unless he thinks it'll win him a battle. He has a Tauros, Muk, Haunter! We want to see 'em!

He doesn't have Haunter. He never really caught it, and after Haunter was tired of Ash it stayed with Sabrina. O_o

On an unrelated side note, it was originally slated that the Pokemon that was Ash's original Pokemon was going to be Clefairy! It may have been even MORE sickeningly cute, but it would have been REALLY COOL to have Metronome as a plot device.

I think that pikachu always took the limelight! No one ever votes 4 anyone else! I agree, pika should leave, also if Ash were to catch as rare pokemon as he sees, he'd finish all the leagues a great deal faster.

He doesn't have a Haunter, he does have a Kingler though. And a Snorlax. And a lot more from Jhoto. Didn;t he let Squirtle go though, although Charizard came back to him in the second movie...

in the series it tends to be for little kids (girls who love thim and boys who really have no gender awarness yet) ash hhas had tons of chances to catch rare pokemon! did he catch mewtwo? nooooooooo lugia? nooooooooooo deoxys? noooooooooooo the three reges? noooooooooooooooo mew? noooooooooooo (and even mew was cute in fuzzy!)
