AlphaSmart 3000 Easter Egg - The Answer to Life

First, go into applications by pressing the applications button. Make sure you have Calculator v2.0. Then, type in 42 and press enter.
The sum should come up as "The answer to life, the universe, and everything. I don't know how many other phrases/quotes of this type there are, but keep looking. I came across this one by accident.

Special Requirements: AlphaSmart 3000 and the calculator that comes with it. Only works on Calculator version 2.0, not 2.5

I think that this is a refrence to the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" series, in which this alien race from another dimension creates a computer as large as a city to find the answer to life, the universe, and everything. After some time (a couple million years), the computer declared the answer to be 42. The aliens then came to our dimension, disguised themselves as mice and with plans the computer had given them, started construction on another computer, the earth, to find the question.

I beleive this is a reference to "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams, in which the supercomputer, Deep Thought, calculates the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything as 42. :)
