Fast and the Furious, The Easter Egg - Movie Within the Movie

During about the middle of the film all the guys are gathered together at Dom's house for a barbecue. Afterward they went to watch a movie. If you watch carefully you can see that they were watching "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story" which is also directed by the same director Rob Cohen.

in the beginning when the green eclipse is racing you see the passenger floor fall out. However later on he picks up that dude on the street. Wouldn't his feet be dragging on the street???

http://www.ls1.com/ls1forum/Forum2/HTML/050796.html Go to this site for all the 'slip-ups' in The Fast and the Furious. The site is ls1.com, a message board of many true drag racing enthusiasts. LS1 is the code name given by General Motors tothe engine inside all '98 f-bodies (Camaros and Trans Ams) and the current Corvettes (known as the C5). All these people in here know about drag racing and what it takes to actually make a car run the times mentioned in the movie. So many things were wrong about this movie that it isn't even funny. The list is on the site. Some of the people's responsces are made as jokes, so please, do not take them all seriously.

First off I'm not a huge fan of imports, however; I thought this movie was great. The one thing I noticed that was really wrong is the shifting in the first scene where he tops out at 140mph. His shifting sequence is 1-2-2-3-4-5 and they actually show him shift into 2nd twice. I don't know about you but I've never seen an Eclipse with two 2nd gears(or any car for that matter).

Easter Egg Jack - That guy is actually Filipino and his name is R.J. De Vera. He's an actual drag racer and he was also one of the technical experts on the movie set. Edit - His character was Japanese...my bad.
