I watched him in an interview on a british TV program called TFI Friday and he explained the meaning of his poem. It is indeed about one of his teachers. The poem was originally on his first album, "Life Thru A Lens" And watch out for his latest album "Sing When You're Winning" when he says 'no...I'm not doing one on this album!'

this was actually designed to stop copping of the cd, making it over 80 mins long and therefore impossible to copy however the poem can be cut off or the "middle time" cut out making it small enough
