If you pay any attention to the game, you'll notice that the planet you are fighting on is named Cermak. You'd think the game designers got the name from off the top of someone's head or something made up, but it turns out that Cermak is the name of the road that Fasa Corp. is located, Cermak Road, look for the publishing info found on most battletech books and you'll see the name Cermak Road pop up. It seems ironic that they named a desolate barren wasteland of a planet after the street where their job is, ain't that nice...
