Mechwarrior 2 Easter Egg - Enzo

1. At the opening screen, choose "Trials of Grievance."
2. Then, when you get to choose your star formation,
3. The 'mechs you use, etc., go to the Star Formation
4. Edit screen. While there, change your name to
5. Enzo. (You have to have correct capitalization!)
6. Then go back and choose the 'mech you will be
7. using. In addition to the normal choices, you
8. will also be able to use the Elemental, Tarantula,
9. and BattleMaster! Unfortunately this code doesn't
10. work with the original version--get a patch that fixes it on the Internet.

I've found several patches that will fix the Enzo glitch available on the Internet--just search at any web crawler for "BattleMaster patch". Be sure to get the right patch. Oh, and as long as you're not using the Titanium Trilogy, you can effect the fixes yourself: 1. In file MW2.PRJ -- change byte at offset 3206200 from 0x0B to 0x11 and change byte at offset 3206752 from 0x0B to 0x11 2. In file MW2SHELL.EXE -- Search for string "btllmstr" and replace with "bttlmstr" That should do it. I haven't been able to find a fix of any kind for the Titanium Trilogy though...too bad.
