Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace Easter Egg - Naboo Guard

At Coruscant, outside the queen's room, watch when Anakin arrives to say goodbye to Padme. Does that guard outside seem at all familiar? It's Mark Hamill's (Luke Skywalker) son. You can see the resemblance.

I read that there was a cameo by Mr. Hammill's son but I know he is not the guard by the door of the Queen's quarters when Anakin came over to say goodbye. There is a snapshot of the scene in the 'Daily Snapshot' feature in the official site and the actor's name (enclosed in parentheses - pardon the pun) is Dominic West. It could be a screen name - but I doubt it. I could provide the caption, and the set where the snapshot is in tomorrow (July 14, 2000)or you could check the site for yourself.

Okay. I know TPM has long come and gone in theaters but I still want to contribute here because this site is a GOLDMINE! As promised, about the "Palace Guard": the picture can be found in set #20, snapshot #5. The caption reads:"A Palace Guard (Dominic West) announces arrival [sic] of young Anakin Skywalker."

Mark Hammil said on TV that he is in TPM cast. He said he thinks no one will recognize him. Im not sure if he said he will be a alien or someone else
