Marnie (1964) Easter Egg - "Frigid"

Eager to break away from his type casting as James
Bond that he had made in two films; Sean Connery eagerly accepted a film directed by THE MASTER.

Hitchcock could not kidnap Grace Kelly away from her new role as Princess of Monaco, a beautiful small country on the Riviera. So he settled for Tippi Hedren, their second film together.

"Marnie" is a film with psychological intrigue. Marnie was a disturbed anti-heroine that was frigid toward her new husband (Connery- not Bond) who married her to apprehend (blackmail?) her and change her kleptomaniac habits.

Five minutes into the film, we see a successful thief, Marnie walking through a hotel lobby. She passes Hitch who has entered from the left.

Another cameo for THE MASTER....
