Stargate SG-1 - The Next Alfred Hitchcock
Peter DeLuise started directing episodes in the third season. In every episode he directs, he also appears briefly in a cameo. In "Hide and Seek" he can be seen as a machine-gunner next to the Stargate. In "Urgo" when the alien computer program Urgo (played by Dom Deluise) changes his appearance to be more appealing, he briefly appears as Peter DeLuise (a double egg!). In "Window of Opportunity" Peter can briefly be seen helping Daniel Jackson pick up some papers. And in "Tangent" he is a guard in the background as Hammond comes down some stairs.

Peter DeLuise's brothers name is Michael. It seems to be a family thing. Both brothers appeared on Sg1, Seaquest, and 21 Jump Street ( also had ddad Dom in one) together.

In season 7 there is another episode where a DeLuise appears. Davis DeLuise, another of Peter's brothers appears as Pete, Carters boyfriend. Most of the directors are Producers as well, they all have appeared in a show in one way or another.

If anyone caught the recent fifth season episode "The Tomb", you can spot another cameo by DeLuise: he's a photograph of one of the Russian members of the original team sent to the planet.

For the record... - Dom DeLuise (father of Peter) played Urgo in the episode "Urgo" - David DeLuise (brother) plays Pete Shannahan, Carter's boyfriend, from the seventh season episode "Chimera" till the eighth season episode "Threads" - Michael DeLuise only appeared in "Wormhole X-Treme!" - And Peter Deluise has made multiple appearances in the show, in addition to those listed, he was also in "Descent" (he's the "extra" character who's there when the sub comes to rescue them) and often appears with Sgt. Siler (Dan Shea) "helping" him.

I was going to add the info about all of the DeLuise's, but just above beat me to it! But I do need to add a correction, "Hide and Seek" was an Atlantis show.

Also, watch episode #502 "Threshold." In the scene where Hammond and O'Neill watch over Teal'c from the observation deck (with the big glass window) near the end of the episode: look in the window and you will see the reflection of a bunch of candles organised to spell "P.D" =Þ

There is no episode called "Hide & Seek", you may mean "Show & Tell" which was an episode in the second season. Also in a recent episode "Nightwalkers" he can be seen exiting a café at the start of a scene.
