Snatch Easter Egg - Lucky Star

In the Guy Richie film "Snatch" (Starring Brad Pitt), in the 19th chapter we meet Vinnie Jones' character "Bullet Teeth" he gets in a car and puts the radio on. He then remarks that the song playing is one of his favourite tunes. The song playing is Madonna's "Lucky Star". Guy Richie and Madonna are currently together (he is the father of Madonna's daughter). This is the only piece of music that is played as part of a scene and it gets a mention by an actor, (well sort-of-actor) who is strongly associated with Guy Richie. (Vinnie Jones began had his first acting role in Richie's first film "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.)

Actually, Guy Ritchie is the father of Madonna's SON, (Rocco) not daughter.

An interesting note: Madonna was originally going to sing at this year's superbowl, but due to a conflict with her and Fox about her wardrobe, she will not be performing. She wanted to wear a shirt with 'Snatch' written on it, due to the fact that she and Guy Ritchie are now married, and she wanted to promote his movie.

Seems that everyone missed the simplest connection here: 'Lucky Star' is background music in the scene introducing 'Bullet Tooth Tony' which is before the scene where he comments on it being his fav song. Seems funny that 'Lucky Star' is his fav song after he was shot six times with it playing in the background.

Bullet Tooth Tony NEVER says Lucky Star is his "favorite" song. The actual quote is "Cor, I love this track" (cor is a cockney/british exclamaition). If you're going to post something about a movie make sure you get it right. I mean "Bullet Teeth"? For f**ks sake?! And that scene is the second scene in which a reference is made to Lucky Star. Its also playing in the flash back in the topless bar that introduces Tony and explains how he got his name.

I just want to say what do you mean "sort-of actor"? Vinnie Jones is a very famous British actor and has been in a few American movies as well, including X-Men 3 (Juggernaut), The Condemned, and Eurotrip (Manchester United football hooligan).
