Queen is Dead, The (The Smiths) Easter Egg - Bigmouth Strikes Again

On the track "Bigmouth Strikes Again", guest vocals, (the high pitched ones you can hear singing with Morrissey at the chourus), are credited to "Ann Coates".

Such a person does not exist as the voice is Morrissey's speeded up. As for the name, "Ancoats" is an area just outside Manchester.

I've got it on vinyl and I can't find the egg. Is it on the vinyl or just the CD?

It's on both. It's just Morrissey's voice run through a harmonizer. He also used that for their song "Meat is Murder."
