James and the Giant Peach Easter Egg - Jack Skellington

As the Centipede looks for the compass underwater, he goes into a sunken ship and sees a skeleton (holding the compass). The skeleton looks the same as Jack Skellingon, the main character from "A Nightmare Before Christmas." When Centipede sees it, he cries out, "A Skellington!" and then, "Jack pot!" as he sees the compass. "James and the Giant Peach" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas" were both directed by the same person, Henry Selick.

Actually, Nightmare Before Christmas was written by Tim Burton (who wrote he original poem), Michael McDowell, and Caroline Thompson. Sorry.

Also, the face that the Pirate makes is the same as the face that Jack Skellington uses (minus the fingers in his mouth) to scare Oogie Boogie's henchmen in NMB4Xmas when they brought the Easter Bunny back instead of Santa Claus.

That isn't an egg. One of the directors pointed that out in Disney Adventures magazine.

So? Eggs can be mentioned by creators of the movie. It doesn't have to be some huge secret to be an egg.
