Steven's Last Night in Town (Ben Folds Five) Easter Egg - Hi! Thanks for Calling, You Just Ruined the Song

At the end of the song "Steven's Last Night in Town" (from the album "Whatever and Ever Amen"), there is a short pause. During that time, you can hear a telephone ringing. This is because the album was recorded in one of the band member's houses. They forgot to unplug the phone when the tape was rolling. However, it happened at such a cool time that they decided to leave it in.

This is actually one of Robert's friends calling him up on his mobile! You can hear Robert laugh "ha, ha" after the phone rings!

I wrote them a letter about that and they sent me an autograph saying "Good Ears, thanks for your incite, Jeanette! Take care" etc etc...great guys :) Unfortunatly I used to listen to this while cleaning my room and the phone part would come up and I'd have to run downstairs every time until I realized, its on the CD.

Is it just me, or can anyone else hear a phone ringing in the background of "Brick" on that same album?
