Internet Explorer Easter Egg - IE5 Programers in Meta Tags

Click on Search on the toolbar to bring up the search bar. Right click, and click View Source. You'll notice in the META tags, the names of the people who worked on this feature.

it is a very common practice for developers to put their name in the meta tags. they're either in the generator tag or author tag.

Actually it would be in any version ($+, or even Netscape if you go to the right page) seeing as it's actually a remote page (on ie.search.msn.com). This also means that, once they decide to change it on their end, it would be gone forever. On the bright side, this means it's not part of the inital download you did to get IE.
