Beauty And The Beast (1991) Easter Egg - A Sign to Where?

1. Find the scene where Maurice, Belle's father, finds the signs when he is lost in the woods.
2. Hit "Pause" on you VCR
3. Read the signs. You'll see that one says "Anaheim," one says "Glendale," and one says "Valencia."
4. What does this mean? Well, Disneyland is in Anaheim, CA. I think that Walt Disney Studios are in Glendale. And I heard that Cal Institute of the Arts, where many Disney artists come from, is in Valencia.

The angle I heard on this -- at least for Anaheim and Valencia -- was that Anaheim, the home of Disneyland, is the path that looks more inviting. Valencia, where a Six Flags amusement park is located, is a darker, more evil-looking path. Refers to the competition between the two parks.

According to DISNEY ADVENTURES magazine, Walt Disney Studios I believe is in Burbank, but, from personal experience, Disneyland is in Anaheim, or at least close to it. I may be wrong however.

Valencia is where Cal Arts is and that's where Disney gets a lot of recruits for jobs and such, Valencia has also been used in the Brave Little Toaster, when the the Toaster is asking for directions to the boys home in the city from the street light or whatever the street light says the boy lives off of McBean Parkway, which is an exit in Valencia, I forget the exact numbers the street light uses but I heard that it is the address for Cal Arts. Also for the movie Edward Scissor Hands I heard that Tim Burton was over at Cal Arts a few years ago and said that he modeled the suburbs in that movie after Valencia, but I'm not sure about this one.

Hi. Disney Studios are in Burbank, Disney Imagineering is in Glendale, Disneyland is in Anaheim. I think Cal Arts is in Valencia. I can't make out the words on the signs other than Anaheim. If anyone is trying to find this part of the movie, it is just over 16 mins into the movie on my video tape.
