Yes, the voice does sound like his. Im might not be sure though, a fool thought that the guy's face reflected in the rear view mirror in Back to the Future (see the eegg) was Harrison Ford, when it was Speilberg instead.

Hey there, Actually, according to the Collector's Laser disc, Harrison had a cameo as the Principal of the School, in a cut scene where he has the 'drunk' Elliot in his Office. The only thing is that you never do see his face. So he wasn't a substitute teacher but was in the movie (or would have been)

The teacher can't be Harrison Ford. His arms are too old for it to be Harrison Ford in 1982.

Harrison Ford did NOT play the teacher in ET. He does not appear in the theatrical version whatsoever. He played the school principal who calls Elliot's mom after Elliot is taken away for freeing the frogs. His entire scene in the office is played with him in shadows and you never clearly see his face, but the voice is there. It is only available on the Special Edition laser disc box set. The secretary in this scene is played by Melissa Mathison, Ford's wife at the time and the movie's scriptwriter.
